There are still so many people who are still getting rewarded for either doing nothing or messing things up. Bush, Sarah Palin and now Tony Hayward the BP CEO. There are speculations that he might be replaced by Bob Dudley who is BP`s managing director. There is also an issue with an American running a British company. It has been more than 3 months since the incident that left 11 workers and setting off an oil spill. BP has already spent about US$4 billion and losing many million gallons of oil before they could stop the leak. Fact is BP has yet to pay for the damages and losses which could easily sum up to another tens of billions dollars.

The main issue now is that Tony Hayward is leaving his post. He practically did not do anything to when the oil spill occurred. He was not able to answer any questions being asked by the government or the people. He was irresponsible and worse of all he took vacations when the oil leak situation was not resolved. Guess what he is getting paid about US$17 million in pension money. Once he retires he is going to get about US$600 000 yearly. How much does he makes a year since he became a CEO in BP? Come on make a guess…well it is about US$1.5 million. We also should not forget the money he received from performance bonuses and other benefits. What has happened now? Well BP stocks have reduced greatly and have to pay off a lot of money for damages and lawsuits.

Look at the amount of money he is making while many others suffer at his expense. It is hard to believe that a man of his status has no shame or integrity. A person like Tony Hayward is not going to stop making money. He will probably keep a low profile for a few years, than start something else. Where is justice? The investigations did say that the oil rig is poorly maintained as they decided to cut cost. It was the CEOs` who made such decisions. 11 lives were lost, they can`t bring them back. What is being done? A retirement plan with a yearly pension. Many of us are trying to make ends meet but then there those who can do whatever they want and still make more than they need. She claims that the new healthcare overhaul will cost tax hikes and increase in medical care for the special needs children. Let`s look back at the other claims she has made in the past. Remember the time when she said that the healthcare overhaul will send Grandma to the death panel. Do not forget the time when she said that she could see Russia from Alaska. Oh yes, the sun goes around the earth. It is obvious that she is not a smart person but at the same time not a stupid one either. She knows how to create attention. Controversy…controversy…more controversy, she is practically reminding people now and then that she exists. Look at Mccain or even George W.Bush; they do not even appear in the media as much as Palin does. The event is itself is off non-political nature but yet she talks about the Obama`s administration and her ideologies. I hope her supporters can`t see that she is practically an attention whore.

Well from knowing Sarah Palin she does not stop just there. In a fundraiser at California State University she talked about how Reagan when to California college and graduated. As usual the crowd seemed to be either deaf or is too slow to think about what she said. The reality is Reagan went to Eureka College in Illinois from 1928 to 1932 and he wasn`t in California until 5 years after his graduation. Furthermore, there is no Eureka College in California.

If you guys didn`t know she is also in trouble regarding her legal funds. What happen was the “Alaska Fund Trust” was replaced with “Sarah Palin Legal Defense Fund”. This was of course endorsed by the ex-governor Palin when she was in power. The issue is that the whole debacle is in violation of rules and it looked more like using the public office for private gain. There is not much detail presented on this because there are also speculations going around which might not be true at all. So now she has agreed to pay back US$390,000 that was raised by the fund. She also has to pay US$500,000 in legal fees. What does she do? She creates another legal fund to raise that money. The comical thing is that she makes it look as if she is struggling with the payment. Let`s look at it carefully. She banked in a lot of money when she released her book. She got paid for giving speeches that do not make sense. She is also a FoxNews contributor. It is estimated that she could have easily made US$12 million.

As usual Sarah Palin will claim this is a plot by oppositions to put her down and stop her from telling the truth to the Americans. Well if it stops her from telling “her” truth than it is all good. She has been defeated many times and yet she still insists. A logical person will know when to keep quiet and stay out of the public and media till everything cools down. Not Sarah Palin who believes in fairy tales and imaginary friends.

Fact is she is doing whatever it takes to stay in the media spotlight and she is doing a good job. The best we can do is to avoid her and educate others about her ridiculous ideologies.

Today it has been official that the current oil leak is the worst environmental disaster. What is still being done? Practically, the government is now forcing BP to pay up whatever is due. BP has to also now speak up on its plans to reduce the oil leak why such an event took place. Fact is BP is still getting away with it. The reason is simple BP does know how to make a show to convince people about what they are doing to improve the situation. So far there talks about having containment systems that will separate oil from water. One of the containment devices is actually manufactured by “Kevin Costner” who has acted in movies like “Waterworld” and “The Untouchables”. The device initially failed in the testing but after adjustments it worked. BP so far as ordered 32 devices and it is estimated that each device can extract 2000 barrels of oil per day. Recently, BP has started to burn the leaking oil from the ruptured well. They did it to reduce the oil leak but this will cause water temperatures to rise and form other sorts of end-products from the burning causing the environment to become unsuitable for wildlife.

Reality is BP and many other oil companies have been lying to the people around the world. Remember when Sarah Palin said that she is very efficient, knowledgeable and has experiences dealing with oil companies about oil spills and safety; then she asked President Obama should call her. Well she either knows nothing or just acts as if she does or she is conspiring with the oil companies. BP as well as many other oil companies have been lying to all of us and using loopholes in laws and regulations to cut cost so that they can profit insanely. They have been many incidents that took place within the oil companies’ refineries which were covered up.

They have overlooked the safety aspects within refineries and oil rigs to save money. The CEOs` have continuously stressed on cutting down cost on getting new materials and equipments to replace parts from wear and tear. What was the attitude that they are having? Fix the problem has it comes. I suppose they do not believe that prevention is better than cure. Look at the problem now they are facing now and they can`t even fix it. Furthermore, oil companies created welfare programs to protect the environment and wildlife within the region. In reality, the list of the things that they claim to provide welfare for do not exist within the region. There were several incidents of pipelines ruptured and refineries having spewed hazardous materials had been covered up. Incidents like explosions occurring in refineries were only in the media for awhile and were soon forgotten by the public because of diversions and promoting lies.

Now President Obama is using this opportunity to push for greener solutions. It is true that the U.S. has natural gas, ethanol, nuclear or even hybrid technology but we must not forget that the oil is still being used to manufacture other products. Either way we would still need to do offshore drilling up to a certain extent where there will be oil for manufacturing purposes. It is obvious that the oil companies will not siphon as much as they are doing now. This can lead to increases in costs of products till they find a way to replace oil completely or totally create new products that can change our lifestyle. I know that by using some principles in thermodynamics we can produce oil but then there is an issue on cost and the materials required.

The government first has to come clean. Next, they should push for stricter regulations which will prioritize safety for their workers and environmental protection. They also need to make sure they commission the right people to take up job in keeping the oil companies inline.

Well it was all talk and buying ad space in Google and Yahoo to show that they were doing something. So now what can Sarah Palin do? Honestly, she can smile and wave around; that’s about it. This oil spill is a disaster, it is about time the government had a backbone to take action.

Now there is a fear and speculation going around about the bp bankruptcy. The issue is that it can become a reality. The main reason is because the government took BP`s word on the oil spill and let it go by. This has only prolonged the damage done by gushing oil to the environment and the wildlife. Why can it turn out to be a bp bankruptcy? Firstly, they have to compensate the fisherman not only in Louisiana but surrounding towns and states as well. Secondly, those who have tourism and recreational activities happening near the dune ponds and shores. Thirdly, the massive amount of lawsuits that are being filed against BP. Fourthly, BP has about 47% of its shareholders; whom they also have to pay off. Seriously even shareholders can see the obvious outcome compared to the government. Fifthly, BP says it will fund for the restoration of wildlife and cleaning up of the environment. There are many more things like paying for its own equipments that were damaged, compensation to those who have lose their lives or injured.

How is BP going to pay? From the oil they are siphoning now from the new cap they placed over the oil leak. The media claimed that BP will more or less make US$1 million a day from the oil they have collected. They claimed that they are going to use that money to pay. If BP files for a bankruptcy somehow they might get away with it. Fact is BP is not interested in the cleanup even after being pressured. They are basically waiting for the oil to hit the shores and then start with the cleaning up. Why they do this? Cost effective and they can get the people living there to do it as well in the name of social responsibility. So at the end of the day BP has made itself many options and the government is just looking. President Obama said he wants to kick ass to those held accountable. How the hell is he going to do it? Visiting the area is not going to help. If BP does not pick up your call go to them directly or make stipulations that put them in a hotspot.

The president should kick himself in the butt first. There is a time to play nice and there is a time to get aggressive. Now is the time, if he prolongs it the people and the environment are going to suffer.

This is where it starts; Palin started talking to NBC about this and claimed that Joe was spying on her. She even said that the media is paying too much attention to her.

This is where her stupidity and urge to get the spotlight lies. She started speculating all these rumors in her facebook. Her claims have no proof or backing. She started to take photographs of Joe McGinniss who was minding his own business in his own balcony and uploaded it to her facebook account. It looks as if she is the one who is actually spying on him for no apparent reason. She also had her “Great Fence of Palin” up in an attempt to block Joe from seeing what she and her family members are doing. Nevertheless, ran her statements to NBC and also to other news shows and get the attention she wanted.

Joe is not someone who will just back off. He went on NBC for an interview and stated that Palin`s tactics were very much like those of Nazis in the 30`s and such things does not have any place in America. After this incident, Joe claimed that he was harassed and received death threats from Palin supporters. Such acts of inciting hatred on others has brought Palin`s reputation down a bit. This event has not been in favor of Palin but for Joe. Ever since Palin gave this trivial issue such a great importance, Joe has received publicity and hopefully he will get more scoops on Palin.

Just imagine what will happen if this douche bag ran for presidency in 2012. If she had any brain matter left in her head, she would have used that opportunity to get some good publicity.
