Liberals to lose, Republicans to Rise.
Mark my words: The Republicans would sweep into power in the House and / or Senate by 2014. I guarantee that! You may hear many other “pundits” in the radio, television and the Internet that the Republican Party is going to be a dying brand. I am pitting my words directly against theirs. Here are my reasons.
1)Liberals cannot see the threat that is staring in their faces.
The story of the tortoise and the hare is one that people never seen to forget but, at the same time, never seem to learn from. Yes, the Democrats made huge strides last year. But the fact is that, the reason for their shift in momentum was due to the charisma that President Obama had in 2008 and the economic collapse. The chips was all in their favor; then.
The politically-dim Democrats, however, thought it was because of poisonous characters like Governor Sarah Palin that had been rejected by the populace. To them, the Republican party has fallen. Them, referring to most of the hosts of MSNBC, “strategists” like James Carville and Radio show hosts like Cenk Uyghur of the Young Turks. President Reagan’s big tent may have collapsed, but his winning formula is still around. The biggest reason that the Republican Tortoise is going to cross the line is because the Democratic hare is sleeping.
2)Movement and superior grassroots organization of the right wing.
Examples of right-wing movements are the talk radio shows, FOX News Channel, in the net, and print media that are obviously on the right wing but declare themselves as Independent and unbiased. The liberals have no answer but the wrong answers to check these right-wing movements.
The second is the grassroots organization. Examples of these are Tea Party movements and churches. I find it eerily powerful that Churches have the power to stop a law in California and are now being approached for help to stop health care reform. The Tea Party movement just highlights how bad the management of handling the Tea Party protests were by the Democrats. 75000 protested against President Obama on 9/12, while 80 000 protested less than a month later for gay rights. See the difference in media coverage? Again, that is down to grassroots organization, that the Democrats lack.
3)Right Wing money.
The far right fights for tax cuts for the corporations, the incorporation of flat taxes, privatizing Social Security and Medicare, etc. These are all things that are favorable to the big companies. The only group of companies that are on the usually left leaning are the tech companies.
Whilst the Democrat can count on the loony left wing unions, their base does not have the guaranteed cash flow that the right wing has. In this way, I think that the Republican National Committee would always have more money than the DNC. Money buys airtime, ads and also personal visitations. This also an area that President Obama did very well last year, but the Democrats were not as successful as they should be.
4)Lack of defense for President Obama.
Liberals also do not know how to protect one another. When Van Jones was all but forced to resign over the silliest of issues, no left wingers stood up to defend them. When ACORN is being attacked, they never stood up. Public Option was torn apart and shredded and the Democrats do nothing. With this weakness, the President is left exposed and it would be a matter of when not, if, to disregard his credibility.
Seriously, when would the Liberals learn? Since the Liberals never learn, why aren’t people supporting the Independents? To me that is the biggest mystery.
