Some classified information has been released but that does that mean the military is wrong in what it does? Why is it that they do not uphold the same tactics that they used in Iraq during Saddam`s regime? Why people like Colin Powell were not involved early during the Afghan war? What about the oil money that was meant for the reconstruction of Iraq? What has become of the recent mineral deposits discovery? So many more questions to be asked but there will not be an answer given. Just because secret documents about the Afghan war were revealed does not mean it covers everything. The biggest issue would be whether the U.S. government will be trusted by other countries to keep secrets.

The politicians are trying to make deals with countries like Pakistan or Lebanon with the sole purpose to influence and occupy but at whose expense? These countries are not making a deal because they want to help end the insurgency but because of the aid and finance being funded to them. They literally have been helping other factions who are against U.S. Honestly; I have no idea why the military is in Afghanistan when countries like Pakistan should be in the spotlight. If they government wants the resources like oil or the mineral deposits than just go for it. Why bother setting up this military campaign? People should be able to understand that countries like Iraq should have been a rich country but sadly it is unable to make proper use of its own resources alongside with a dictator. There is a possibility that they did try to fight for freedom but failed to do so with poor planning or it could be a war for profiting on a long term basis. If they wanted the oil they could have easily cut a deal with Saddam.
The U.S. government could have done many more things to cover up or setup events that could make us think differently. What the heck we don`t know, there are so many sides to see.

There are so many conspiracies and issues that are popping up daily. It is kind of disturbing to think that we have so many problems at home that are not being resolved but yet they have the time and resources to focus elsewhere. The media is also creating its own version of the issues and with people who create a ton of conspiracies that influences the public. Who can we believe?

The main issue now is that Tony Hayward is leaving his post. He practically did not do anything to when the oil spill occurred. He was not able to answer any questions being asked by the government or the people. He was irresponsible and worse of all he took vacations when the oil leak situation was not resolved. Guess what he is getting paid about US$17 million in pension money. Once he retires he is going to get about US$600 000 yearly. How much does he makes a year since he became a CEO in BP? Come on make a guess…well it is about US$1.5 million. We also should not forget the money he received from performance bonuses and other benefits. What has happened now? Well BP stocks have reduced greatly and have to pay off a lot of money for damages and lawsuits.

Look at the amount of money he is making while many others suffer at his expense. It is hard to believe that a man of his status has no shame or integrity. A person like Tony Hayward is not going to stop making money. He will probably keep a low profile for a few years, than start something else. Where is justice? The investigations did say that the oil rig is poorly maintained as they decided to cut cost. It was the CEOs` who made such decisions. 11 lives were lost, they can`t bring them back. What is being done? A retirement plan with a yearly pension. Many of us are trying to make ends meet but then there those who can do whatever they want and still make more than they need. We have to look at the factors that are causing job employment in the private sectors to decline. We certainly cannot live our lives with temporary or contract jobs. One of the major reasons why companies do not employ more people is because of cost reasons. Recently, Obama announced that US$2 billion is going to spend on creating green energy jobs. The money is given to companies that produce solar panels allowing them to employ more people. What is the point when the government is indirectly paying the newly employed? What if the money is used up? The companies will surely let go of its workers to reduce their cost overhead.

All of the companies want to reduce cost and are sensible about employment. The government has coaxed many of them to employ more people. Practically why would a company that is making money and has enough employees that can satisfy its needs to employ more people? So what about the bigger companies? Are they employing more people? The bigger companies tend to move their manufacturing line to other countries where it is cheaper. Just by opening a production line in China, they can greatly reduce their cost overhead. For every American being employed and paid, they can employ 5 Chinese with low pay. So now the question is why the bigger companies should open up factories in the U.S. when they can make more money by moving to China.

The people also are looking for good paying jobs, especially those who are well educated with good qualifications. So what happens? The employer has to pay more. Alternatively, the employer can get a foreigner to work for him at a lowered cost. The U.S. is known as the land of opportunity but at whose expense? Every day we are having more and more immigrants coming here to work. In a country like China, it is the capacity to produce more than 2 million graduates a year. Likewise for India as well, who has many people who compete with the Americans for IT jobs. A few months back I read an article about Microsoft stating that Indian programmers do not possess the quality for IT. We have to understand that they are simply here to work and earn not help you to profit. They can easily jump the boat while you sink.

This is not about demonizing the foreigners. It is a fact that there are Americans who do the same. It is globalization on unprecedented levels. At the same time, we have to figure on how to survive with what we have. The key is to be diversified and look for opportunities and niches. We cannot depend on the government or companies to get us jobs or improve our lives. Frankly, they are more interested in their well being. Problems cannot be solved by having more and more money put into it. That is the type of thinking that got us into this mess. Have a debt problem, no problem “here, have some more money”. Be diversified and look for other means of survival. One of the ways is to do outsourcing. It is possible to do it from within your own home. It could be even something related to IT or even baking. There are even people who make things that are even cheaper and its quality surpasses factory made products. Outsourcing is a good way to cut cost for companies. That does not mean they need to look for foreign resources to outsource. It can be done even on the home ground.

Well from knowing Sarah Palin she does not stop just there. In a fundraiser at California State University she talked about how Reagan when to California college and graduated. As usual the crowd seemed to be either deaf or is too slow to think about what she said. The reality is Reagan went to Eureka College in Illinois from 1928 to 1932 and he wasn`t in California until 5 years after his graduation. Furthermore, there is no Eureka College in California.

If you guys didn`t know she is also in trouble regarding her legal funds. What happen was the “Alaska Fund Trust” was replaced with “Sarah Palin Legal Defense Fund”. This was of course endorsed by the ex-governor Palin when she was in power. The issue is that the whole debacle is in violation of rules and it looked more like using the public office for private gain. There is not much detail presented on this because there are also speculations going around which might not be true at all. So now she has agreed to pay back US$390,000 that was raised by the fund. She also has to pay US$500,000 in legal fees. What does she do? She creates another legal fund to raise that money. The comical thing is that she makes it look as if she is struggling with the payment. Let`s look at it carefully. She banked in a lot of money when she released her book. She got paid for giving speeches that do not make sense. She is also a FoxNews contributor. It is estimated that she could have easily made US$12 million.

As usual Sarah Palin will claim this is a plot by oppositions to put her down and stop her from telling the truth to the Americans. Well if it stops her from telling “her” truth than it is all good. She has been defeated many times and yet she still insists. A logical person will know when to keep quiet and stay out of the public and media till everything cools down. Not Sarah Palin who believes in fairy tales and imaginary friends.

Fact is she is doing whatever it takes to stay in the media spotlight and she is doing a good job. The best we can do is to avoid her and educate others about her ridiculous ideologies.

Recently, there is also a change in command. Now General Petraeus is going to be in charge of the Afghan war. Just because the Petraues has experience during Iraq war does not mean he is going to be successful in Afghan. Remember that during the Iraq war the Political cabinet was very different. If you ask me the Iraq war was a success because of Colin Powell. The questions are simple. How is it that the Afghan war going to be won when there is no proper cooperation among politicians and military officials? How are they going to win the war if they can`t even resolve their own nation issues?

Whenever the news comes on about Afghan war, we would hear some spokesman talking about how some Taliban leader was killed or Al Qaeda fleeing the region. Are there only 2 militant or terrorist groups in Afghanistan? So how many are there for real? Firstly, we need to know that Afghanistan is pretty much controlled by 100s of different factions. Each of this faction more or less preaches Islam a little differently. Unlike Taliban or Al Qaeda these groups are that very well organized. So what the U.S. government did was simply win them over by paying them. Yes, paying them with your money. The money that could be used to make people`s life better is being wasted on militants. Why they pay? To make sure that the U.S. convoy can pass through without any problems. Sometimes you got to wonder whether anything can be achieved with such leaders.

Let`s go back to the time when Russia occupied Afghanistan. Russian military did commit war crimes but their intentions were in the right place. During this the U.S. gave a lot of weapons and resources to the Afghans. Currently, the weapons that were given than is being used against the U.S. troops now. Did the U.S. learn from this? It is not easy to accept mistakes but it is wise and smart to do so. Even now Afghanistan`s government is still dependent on the U.S.. Yet President Obama says that his administration will be able to start pulling troops by July 2011.

In the first place why Afghanistan? The fact is important terrorist or militant leaders are hiding out in countries like Pakistan, Yemen or even Lebanon. Afghanistan does harbor terrorist as well as having a lucrative poppy plant production which has funded many factions. On the other hand does the U.S. government need to focus so much on Afghanistan? At the end, so many things could have been to improve the economics and the lives of many people. So think about it….

He needs a reality check. No matter what we say about climate change or going green currently we still need the oil. It is the main source that keeps everything moving for now. The idea was to halt the operations for 6 months. Now let`s look at the cost factor here. If the U.S. does not get enough oil from its own land, it will have to buy more from foreign lands. The cost per barrel might go up. Once that happens the oil will be refined and sold to the public. Cost of petroleum or diesel will increase to cover the overhead cost. Who will have to bare the costs in the end? You might think that just because they are new oil projects it might not affect us, well it will.

BP has been lying about oil leak and they did not have viable solution at all. Is Obama looking into this seriously or is he just looking away. It is not necessary that BP needs to do the clean up. The U.S. government can take charge of the situation. Why does the President even bother letting BP handle the situation when they can`t even manage their own industry. The government should not have allowed BP in the first place to be in control of the situation and let commissioners from the U.S. government just sit and watch. Already this situation has caused a tragic suicide of William Allen Kruse, a 55 year old who was an Alabama charter boat captain. He was despondent over the spill and its aftermath which stressed him a lot and eventually leading to suicide. Could it get worse? Yes, now Louisiana has rain that contains oil and water.

What about Tony Hayward? Simple he does not care. What about the top executives and chief operators? Well they simply lied and are waiting for someone to do something. BP is completely lost on what to do that they are just buying time by downplaying the claims on the oil leak. The people living in Louisiana are depending on the government. The government is pointing its finger at BP. The first thing they have all to do is to be on the same side. Currently, they are all on different sides and are causing problems to one another. All of them need to be united. Everyone in this situation is awaiting one another for an answer or a solution. There are people who are doing something to prevent the oil leak from getting worse but they are getting opposed.

This situation is going to get worse. There are possibilities of more people being driven to suicide and more wildlife just disappearing.

Saying people are hooked on oil is absolutely ridiculous. It is like saying we are hooked on drinking water or air. Oil is a necessity, without oil we would pretty much be unable to do the many things that we are taking for granted today. That does not mean that is the consumers` fault. We as human beings look for things that can make our lives easier. That does not mean we are hooked to it. Changes come and go so will oil. Why? Technologies are already available. Why it is not implemented? Cost is a factor. Oil dependent industries have to make changes for their businesses to adapt. Safety issues and regulations have to been put in place.

There are many more things that are needed to done. The transition is slow but it is still progressing. Why companies are moving forward? Oil industries tend to have a grip on other industries that are dependent on them. Even during the recession the oil companies were still able to give bonuses to its employees. Their profits sore high while businesses where shutting down. Even today there are many oil spills being discovered. Currently, there is an oil spill off the Egyptian Red Sea coast of Hurghada. These are not only from BP but from other industries as well. It is really disturbing to know that these people are not taking this seriously. They simply do not see the aftermath of such disasters.

Green energy is a threat to the oil industry. Unfortunately, it too has some greedy corporate who wants to monetize it and make huge profits. Fact is green energy is a viable option but we would still being using oil for the next 20 to 40 years or maybe beyond that. The amount of pressure that is being built up on consumers to change their dependent on oil will be high and the cost involved might also further slow down the transition to green technology.

Reality is that we has consumers can go green up to a certain extent. Technology like solar panels or wind energy can cut cost. At the same time the industries that make them sell at a hefty price. There are a ton of alternatives out there. It is always good start early and to learn. The oil industry or the corporate can`t stop you from learning. Bottom line, we need oil but that does not mean we are hooked to it. It is just a matter of time before we tap into other sources of energy.

We all know that slavery is still striving even in developed nations. In fact, it is also known that it is a billion dollar industry. Putting children through forced labor, sexual slavery or even murdering for their organs is only the beginning. As time goes by more and more insidious demands are created and innocent people are exploited. The main issue is that such activities could be happening right next door and we might not know about this.

There are many groups which are striving to put an end to slavery but they are also being threatened. This topic is something that already many people know about. Red Cross has already had been fined multiple times. In total, it has already incurred about USD$21 million over the period of 5 years. How is it such an organization that has been respected by so many around the world end up being fined? To be honest, the Red Cross is merely an organization that used a simple a tactic to get attention. Whenever there is a catastrophe anywhere in the world they will be the first aid organization to show up. The reality is we can only see the overview of what is happening. To get in-depth information is something that will take time and analysis.

The issue here is that the organization itself has put it a lot of effort. Unfortunately, it also needs the right people to manage it and do the necessary aid reliefs work properly. I am not sure about everyone`s perspective on this issue but from what I know Red Cross has been getting away with a lot of things in the past. When it comes down to praising them the media is very well on it.

Red Cross has been mistaken by quite a few people for being a Christian organized organization. What lead to that believe? Well, many years back there were many Christians who decided that they should spread Christianity. Their idea was to influence the younger generation to read the bible and possibly become a Christian. Now is this a serious matter? Such events have even occurred in hostile regions where there are religious tensions. Why is this not publicized? Red Cross is a good organization but there are always some black sheeps around.

It is just like how Muslims have an issue being compared to radicals or terrorist when not all are like that. This is why organizations and religion groups have to be well aware of what is happening and take the appropriate action. Rather just taking in people into such an organization, they should do a thorough screening. The process may be tedious but on a long term basis it will be beneficial. The problem is religion cannot heal people. It does have its place in the world has it brings people together. Majority of the people in tough times are looking for something to guide them. Is religion the answer? People would feel better but that is just a placebo effect.

Religion is not wrong but spreading religion around is like pimping. If ever people want to convert they will need convincing. To convince someone you might need to exaggerate. What is the end result? There might be more violence, confusion, disputes and condemning. Of course, it might not happen as well but we have to understand that are many people who do not have the means to know or understand the implications.

Reality is BP and many other oil companies have been lying to the people around the world. Remember when Sarah Palin said that she is very efficient, knowledgeable and has experiences dealing with oil companies about oil spills and safety; then she asked President Obama should call her. Well she either knows nothing or just acts as if she does or she is conspiring with the oil companies. BP as well as many other oil companies have been lying to all of us and using loopholes in laws and regulations to cut cost so that they can profit insanely. They have been many incidents that took place within the oil companies’ refineries which were covered up.

They have overlooked the safety aspects within refineries and oil rigs to save money. The CEOs` have continuously stressed on cutting down cost on getting new materials and equipments to replace parts from wear and tear. What was the attitude that they are having? Fix the problem has it comes. I suppose they do not believe that prevention is better than cure. Look at the problem now they are facing now and they can`t even fix it. Furthermore, oil companies created welfare programs to protect the environment and wildlife within the region. In reality, the list of the things that they claim to provide welfare for do not exist within the region. There were several incidents of pipelines ruptured and refineries having spewed hazardous materials had been covered up. Incidents like explosions occurring in refineries were only in the media for awhile and were soon forgotten by the public because of diversions and promoting lies.

Now President Obama is using this opportunity to push for greener solutions. It is true that the U.S. has natural gas, ethanol, nuclear or even hybrid technology but we must not forget that the oil is still being used to manufacture other products. Either way we would still need to do offshore drilling up to a certain extent where there will be oil for manufacturing purposes. It is obvious that the oil companies will not siphon as much as they are doing now. This can lead to increases in costs of products till they find a way to replace oil completely or totally create new products that can change our lifestyle. I know that by using some principles in thermodynamics we can produce oil but then there is an issue on cost and the materials required.

The government first has to come clean. Next, they should push for stricter regulations which will prioritize safety for their workers and environmental protection. They also need to make sure they commission the right people to take up job in keeping the oil companies inline.
